Veteran Defence Forces Group(VDFG) was founded more than three and a half decades ago in 1986 by a group of enterprising ex Defence personnel with the twin objective of providing opportunities to the Defence fraternity and also to use the huge pool of talent and skills for their benefit to enable them to lead a more secure and healthy life. Led by late Lt.Gen (Retd) J M Vohra, PVSM SM, the Veteran Defence Forces Group embarked on its mission in alignment with its core values of caring and sharing.
VDFG is the pioneer establishment and unique in integrating the force of the Defence Fraternity and help them rediscover their collective and individual strengths. VDFG provides a common platform where Ex-servicemen can pool in their resources and generate collective strength to explore growth avenues and lucrative investment opportunities.

VDFG has launched several projects through its flagship company "Asian Townsville Farms Pvt Ltd" at different locations in Northern India and consistently delivering on promised returns bearing in mind the Group’s motto "Grow With Us".

To cater to the growing need of developing affordable housing in the country ATFL has started two projects- a residential plotted colony in Sector-42, Ambala Cantt, Haryana (ATFL-Herman City) and a residential complex in Sector-44, Noida, UP (Defence Enclave) and is proposing to bring new projects at Dholera (Gujarat) and Rudrapur (Uttarakhand).
VDFG equates profitability to community growth and enhancement. The Group is very conscious of its social responsibility. It actively seeks involvement of the community it serves by way of philanthropy, employment and projects proposals. VDFG fulfills its CSR obligations by designating the bulk of its earnings to welfare activities.
The Group truly believes that building social strength is as imperative as building economic strength in communities and has thus been contributing its resources liberally towards social service and has been demonstrating its responsibility through organized initiatives such as Health camps for Community, Yog Shivirs, welfare activities for the under privileged, offering resettlement opportunities to veteran, sponsoring and donation of land for Yoga –dhyan in Housing complexes etc.
Over 36 years old now VDFG has grown from a tender sapling to a strong, vibrant tree that thrives with its members. Touching and enhancing people’s lives through meaningful association and promotion of good health practices has been the driving force of the Group’s CSR activities.
