Veteran Defence Forces Group Kartik Trust
Founded by a team of enterprising and illustrious veterans from the defence forces Veteran Defence Forces Group (VDFG) was led by distinguished Lt. Gen (late) JM Vohra, PVSM,SM. VDFG began in 1986 with a deep commitment to serve and support those who had served the nation by creating pathways to rediscover purpose, security, and well-being.
It was with this deep intent that Asian Townsville Farms Pvt. Ltd. (ATFL) the flagship company of Veteran Defence Forces Group (VDFG) was established as a platform to offer affordable housing, investment opportunities, and most importantly, a renewed sense of community and stability to veterans from the Defence Forces.
In its journey of last four decades, VDFG has developed from a tender sapling to a vibrant and strong tree. While operating as a corporate entity and executing several stellar real estate projects in different parts of Northern India (through its flagship company) the Group remained deeply conscious of its social responsibility and aligned its purpose with a higher mission.
VDFG acknowledged the role of communities in its growth and success. A significant share of profits has always been dedicated to community service and wellness initiatives guided by the belief that building social strength is as imperative as building economic strength.
The roles of VDFG and ATFL were closely interwoven – working hand in hand to create secure, conscious, and health – oriented living environments. Touching and enhancing people’s lives, the Group has organized camps, retreat, and holistic health initiatives. Wellness and Yoga became the central pillar of its mission. These camps bring together veterans, families and communities to experience the transformative power of yoga and mindful living.

Since its inception, the Trust has touched hundreds of thousands of lives through philanthropic endeavors in the fields of education, welfare, health, and empowerment programs.
